We are in an ongoing exploration of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, but we are taking a break this week to do a field trip to Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and then next week our Thursday meeting day is Thanksgiving Day in the US, so there will be no class.
For students who are following along in our exploration, this would be a good time to review the posts leading up to this one on the First Foundation of Mindfulness, and to try out the practices in them again or for the first time.
For all of us, we can open to thoughts of gratitude. There are several posts on gratitude in this blog that you might want to explore. There are also quite a large number of posts on metta. May all beings be well. May all beings be safe. May all beings be at ease. May all beings be at peace.

I am aware that sometimes there are problems with posting comments, and I would suggest you copy your comment, don't preview it, just 'publish'. That way if it gets lost you still have your comment to 'paste' and resubmit. Sorry for any inconvenience and I hope it doesn't discourage you from commenting!
